Everything Happens For A Reason

One of my favorite books is the five people you meet in heaven by Mitch Albom. That book open my eyes to look at life differently. The one lesson that I believe is true is that everything happens for a reason and in it is a lesson to learn. When it repeats itself it is because you haven’t learned it yet. Some of the things that have happen continues to repeat itself and it is because I won’t accept the lesson. I’ve always been a kind and forgiving more than I should be. Some of the pains that I’ve endured I take it like a champ and that is where I failed.Yet, I get up and smile, forgive all because of this one book that has taught me that those moments make me who I am.

Lesson 1. We are brought into people’s life to teach, change or see actual truths!

We are brought into someone’s life on purpose. Most times we don’t understand the reason why and what we say, do, act and change has an impact on peoples lives. On a sad Sunday, I met a man at a bus stop who was crying and I asked why was he crying? He said, “ for you and me.Please stop taking the hits you don’t deserve. We where across the street from the cemetery. He continued to say, “Everything happens for a reason, but learned from it and don’t let it repeat itself.”

Lesson 2: Forgive but Move On

The next lesson I learned is forgiveness heals your heart. The one thing for certain and two things for sure someone will break your heart whether it be in a relationship, friendship or even family. Forgiveness isn’t easy, the scars people leave, and the wounds they leave upon you to heal. It is unfair, painful, and baffling but holding on keeps us on pause.

Forgive because even though that pain hurts you deserve to move forward. You deserve to heal your heart, mind and spirit so you can love freely, have healthy relationships and friendships. Don’t let old memories of pain be the only thing you have to share. You don’t deserve to suffer in their wrong doings.

Lesson 3: Life isn’t Fair, but You Still Have Purpose & You Change lives

Everything happens for reason even the ugly dark disappointments of life. Can I say this to whomever is reading this you have purpose. Your life adds value to the universe. Your mark counts no matter how small or large. We are assigned a task the moment we are born. We are aligned with a purpose either to serve, heal, create or motivate. Every soul on this earth has a mission to accomplish. We may not understand why we are chosen to deal with certain faiths, or tackle certain hits but the one thing I know everything happens for a reasons.
