Life has Taught Me Grace
Life has taught me to be humble, to count every blessing. Heartbreak, loss, and grief have left their marks — not just scars, but reminders of how resilient I am. They say resilience comes with maturity, and now I understand that true resilience carries grace with it.
Most of us, let’s face it, don’t have a choice but to be strong. We face life with a smile, even when the pain and weight of it all feel unbearable. But strength without grace can be a heavy burden. Too often, we forget to give ourselves the same compassion we so freely offer others.
We all deserve grace. So many of our shortcomings come from not knowing better, not because we are less worthy. Yet, most of us are chasing a perfection that doesn’t exist. We grow comfortable downplaying our worth, convincing ourselves that our mistakes define us.
But I’m learning. I’m learning that I was placed on this earth perfectly imperfect, still worthy of grace.
Grace reminds me that my flaws are not failures — they are evidence of my growth. Grace helps me release the need to be everything to everyone. Grace lets me be human. Finding grace gives us a voice to share our tests and testimonies. To remove the large masses of doubt and fears because we didn’t have it all together in the beginning or middle of our life journey. To be able to step into your very moment with out fear of judgement of others.
We are all deserving of grace — yours, mine, and our own.he Day: Grace
