Safety is an illusion and perhaps it’s better to challenge it sometimes, to see how far we can go, to learn about the stuff we are made of.”
Tania Aebi

I’ve played it safe most of my life, let fear deny me access and hung with the acceptance that my dreams and goals weren’t worth the risks. Here is the reality most of my mistakes was fearing the risk of failing. I wanted to move to California and become a famous writer for Film and Television but I listen to that nagging voice telling me, “Your black, A mama with six children and fat. It’s Impossible.” Now the nagging voice of fear is gone and his cousin regret is all in my face announcing, “you should have tried.”

The saddest song and the biggest mistake when it comes to your career and enhancing your life is not believing in yourself. Letting the cruel voice talk you out of opportunities of a lifetime. Letting doubt talk dirty lies and worry instigate why you might just fall flat on your face. I get it taking risks mean you have so much to lose but the thing about not trying is his cousins Regret will constantly show you people who did it with the same circumstances. It lives with you for a lifetime and haunts you in your sleep.
